Adsorption rotors for PET bottle production machines are designed to reduce the moisture content of raw materials. In the production of PET bottles, there are strict requirements for the moisture content of raw materials: the moisture content in it cannot exceed 0.004% by weight of the material. Such a low moisture content is impossible without the use of a special dryer, which uses similar rotors. The design of the device implies the presence of a reservoir into which raw materials in the form of pellets are portioned using a vacuum loader. A stream of hot air passes through the tank, which removes excess moisture. This air is then supplied to the dehumidifier in which the rotor is installed. The rotor is divided into 3 segments and rotates slowly, acting as a heat exchanger.
